11.03.2026 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT NURSERY PROVISION OVER EID:
With Eid projected to take place either Thursday 19th March or Friday 20th March, we kindly ask that, where possible, you let us know as early as possible, if your child will be absent and which day they will be celebrating Eid Al-Fitr (verbally, by phone 0121 4403066, or email enquiry@jakeman.bham.sch.uk).
If the vast majority of our staff celebrate Eid on one particular day, due to Early Years statutory adult:child ratios, we would be required to close all provision that day. PLEASE MAKE CHILDCARE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THURSDAY 19TH AND/OR FRIDAY 20TH MARCH, IN THE EVENT THAT SOME OR ALL OF NURSERY PROVISION IS CLOSED.
I will inform you of any provision closures made by us on Wednesday 18th March evening.
Please note, we authorise 1 day of absence for religious observance. Please inform us of any absence in addition to 1 day where relevant (by phone 0121 4403066 or email enquiry@jakeman.bham.sch.uk).
