Nursery School for 2-3 year olds
Our 2-3 year old provision is a purpose built environment for children. The nursery boasts an architecturally designed building, with its own spacious rooms and a secure garden that also has access to a purpose build veranda wrapping around the building.
At this stage of children’s development they are becoming increasingly independent. We provide an exciting and stimulating curriculum that supports self-motivation and further develops children’s curiosity and fascination with the world around them.
Each room has facilities to ensure all children’s daily needs are met which include a milk kitchen, dedicated laundry facility and separate changing areas. We have a team of highly qualified, warm and caring staff who are dedicated to creating a welcoming and friendly ‘home from home’ atmosphere.
This age group enjoys the support of no fewer than 1 qualified member of staff to 4 children for those aged 2 years and 1 qualified member of staff to 8 children for those aged 3+ years.
Our curriculum meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Statutory Framework.
Leave your children in safe hands
Leaving your young child isn't easy, but when the time comes, you want to know that they will be nurtured and cherished.
Each child entrusted into our care is allocated at least one ‘key person’. This is a member of the staff team that will form a particularly close working relationship with them. This role exists to complement the bond between a child and family. It recognises that individual children need responsive adults that can build relationships with children that are reciprocal, loving and respectful.
We provide opportunities for learning within a context which is meaningful to each individual child. We aim to enable children to do things for themselves, have access to the resources they need to develop confidence, a positive self-image, independence and responsibility within a supportive and highly nurturing environment.
Why not take the time to meet the team yourself? This facility is open from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only (excluding bank holidays).
